Professional Experience
Henriëtte started her career in a family owned business in Oil & Gas extraction. After eight years she started her studies in Organizational Psychology and got her Ph.D. Her dissertation deals with the (crucial) role of management in Performance Management and pay for performance. During the last three years she combined her studies with a consultancy job in one of the main Dutch Management Consultancy firms.
She stayed with Berenschot for seven years, advising and training managers in the field of HR and Performance Management.
Later she started working for Hay group, one of the largest international HR Management Consultancy firms in the world. She stayed with the firm for a period of ten years in various roles, senior consultant, managing consultant and business developer.
Then she left the company for three years to work as a Management Development Manager for a large international utility company, being responsible for the recruitment and development of the top 250 employees.
Last year she started her own Management Consultancy firm, called the Y-company.
In the last seven years her work has gradually moved from development and implementation of HR instruments to advising, training and coaching executives in large international companies such as ING, DSM, Akzo, Cargill, KEMA, Philips, Vodafone, SHV, TNT and Vopak.
